Diary 5.05.2012

Hello again, I'm here at home, a quiet evening doing my homework and studying history,I have a big test next Friday, the topic is boring, the second world war, nothing interesting in comparison with all that I want to visit here in Texas ... but I'll have to get used to that not everything here is free my time to visit new places, also I have to fulfill my obligations.    

My adoptive mother of Texas, Adele spends the day worried about me, buying things and cooking what I like, this woman really is a charm. But Billy is more neglected but very funny, every Tuesday and Thursday we run around the house a few turns, not to getfat, as he says.

Sofia and Eddy are helping me to prepare a handmade present, for my sister's birthday in a week, and I want to send from here to Gran Canaria a special present, I miss her very much, but for now, I feel great here.

P.D : The surprise that said my technology teacher was , we had to choose a place to travel and study this, the list to choose the site was as follows: Microsoft, NASA, MID,with Silly Valley.
These days think my destiny, and prepare a spreadsheet to record all my expenses here, I have to keep accounts and I have only 300 euros a month. I also thought about getting a job, but with the little time I have, i will not know how ... I'll think of something.

Diary 29.04.2012

Hello everyone !! I'm here again in my new home in Texas, and I'm really happy. These days I have visitedmany interesting places, and the truth is that I never thought there were things in the worldthat surprising, because coming from a small island that I will have covered millions oftimes in my young age, travel and see everything that is not know is incredible.
I have to confess that I feel a bit lost by the time zone but I am slowly getting used, and with the help of Sofia and Eddy anything is possible.
In high school I'm very comfortable, my teachers are very nice and help me a lot, but to put homework, are as hard like with others.
I make activities like: making text comments on what San Antonio Texas, mathematical operations, which I do very badly. Visit sites and making interviews, and many work groups that help me meet my peers. The technology teacher has created in me a great interest, because it says preparing an activity, which we liked a lot and amaze us. What could it be? Well ... when I know the first thing I do, will write in my diary. 
Just yesterday I visited the San Antonio River flows through the city. The Riverwalk, SanAntonio River Walk, is part of the city where cultural events are organized. There are cafes and restaurants with indoor gardens, art galleries and shops. And if you want to see the city from the river there are water taxis, in which I was mount and take lots of pictures. The price was 4 dollars water taxi fifteen minutes, I was only 45 minutes so here in total were 12 dollars.

Diary 22.04.2012

Hello, I have two weeks living in San Antonio, Texas. The first days were a bit difficult,   i had to adapt to weather, time, people from here, and especially to my new house and my new family.My new family consists of 4 persons, Adele and Billy are the parents of Sofia and Eddy.Sofia and Eddy are twins and are 16 years like me. She and I are much alike, have the same character and he is very intelligent, always helping me with homework. Adele and Billy are very concerned about me and treat me very well. The first day i arrived i was surprised with a nice room, very large and with a colorful decoration.

My institute name is Abraham Kazen Middle School, i have not much there but my companions of class are very sympathetic, and i have my group of friends, i'll presenting them.

I have not much to say about the food, at home, always cook Adele, and when we eat out or at school, the food is pretty good.
One of the restaurants i have ever met and i liked a lot is the Shiloh's Delicatessen, you can find food from 1 euro to 15 euros.
